Guide Books for Britain:
- The Aurum Press Great Britain: National Trails and Other Long Distance Paths covers most of the National Trails in Britain and some other walks as well. The books are well illustrated and come with OS Maps. Many offer a summary of each day’s walk at the beginning of the chapter, followed by detailed descriptions of the trail.

- Pennine Way: National Trail, Damian Hall
- The Cicerone Great Britain & Ireland Walking Guides cover the National Trails, as well as many other trails around the UK. Often covering specific areas, they also provide books for shorter walks. Many of them come with an extra map that can be removed.
